Ruben Amorim Tells Marcus Rashford to 'Speak with the Manager' Amid Exit Hints

LONDON — Ruben Amorim has urged Marcus Rashford to address his concerns directly with the manager rather than hint at a departure after the Manchester United forward suggested he might be ready for a new challenge.

Rashford, who was dropped for United's win over Manchester City, sparked speculation about his future following an interview where he hinted at leaving Old Trafford. Despite a tough period of form, Rashford has been a key figure for United since rising through the ranks, though he's scored just 15 goals in 67 appearances since signing a new contract.

Amorim, who replaced Erik ten Hag in November, stressed the importance of team focus, saying, "If this was me, I would speak with the manager." He admitted he hadn't yet spoken with Rashford about his comments, adding that he was still processing the situation.

While Amorim acknowledged the intense media attention surrounding Rashford, he emphasized that the team’s goals, especially their upcoming clash with Tottenham, were his primary concern.
