The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has launched an investigation after supporters of Serie B club Juve Stabia made fascist salutes following a goal scored by Benito Mussolini's great-grandson, Romano Floriani Mussolini. The goal, which helped secure a 1-0 victory over Cesena, was celebrated by fans shouting "Mussolini" and raising their arms in a fascist salute.

The FIGC's federal prosecutor will send a report to the Serie B sports judge for further action. Floriani Mussolini, who is on loan from Lazio, has been playing regularly for Juve Stabia this season. His mother, Alessandra, is the granddaughter of Italy's fascist dictator Benito Mussolini.
