SAN FRANCISCO — Tech billionaires Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg are set to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20, underscoring their efforts to build ties with the incoming president.

NBC News reports that the trio will be seated with other prominent guests, including Trump’s cabinet nominees. Musk, a close ally of Trump and supporter of his campaign, has been tapped to co-lead a new advisory commission to cut federal spending.

Bezos and Zuckerberg, while less closely aligned with Trump, have made moves to court the president-elect. Zuckerberg recently shifted Meta’s stance on fact-checking, and will co-host a post-inauguration reception with Republican donors. Bezos, whose Washington Post often clashed with Trump, has also navigated a complex relationship with the president.

The event highlights the growing political engagement of these tech moguls as they seek to maintain influence in Washington.
