SINGAPORE — A 57-year-old man was arrested for public nuisance after allegedly urinating at Potong Pasir MRT station on Monday evening, marking the third such incident in less than a week.

The man was seen urinating near the passenger service centre around 7:25 pm. SBS Transit staff alerted the police, and the man was escorted out by officers. He will be charged in court on January 15.

SBS Transit condemned the behaviour, citing health and sanitation concerns, and emphasized the need for stronger penalties. This incident follows similar cases at Outram Park MRT on January 10 and Tanah Merah MRT station.
