Floods struck Pahang and Sabah this morning, forcing dozens to evacuate to relief centres. In Pahang, continuous rain led to flooding in Raub, with 31 victims from 12 families evacuated to Sekolah Kebangsaan Ulu Sungai at 2:30 am. The flood was caused by water from Sungai Batu Malim overflowing due to heavy rainfall in the Titiwangsa Range. Although the rain ceased by 1 am, evacuation efforts continued. In Sabah, 17 people from six families, including individuals with disabilities and children, were moved to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bengkongan in Kota Marudu after floods affected Kampung Tamisan and Kampung Radu Tigaman. In Sarawak, 44 people from 22 families remain at a relief centre in Kanowit district.
