BENTONG: A Form Four female student is reported missing from home, believed to have left following a misunderstanding with her family members here today.
Siti Khadijah Abdul Rahman, 16, was last seen at her house in Kampung Tok Muda in Karak near here at about 12.30am, before she went missing around 6am.
District police chief Superintendent Zaiham Mohd Kahar said family members realised Siti Khadijah was missing before her mother lodged a police report at the district police headquarters at 8am.
"She is about 157cm tall, weighs around 40kg, and has a medium build.
"The missing person was last seen wearing a green and white long-sleeve striped t-shirt and jeans at her house in Karak.
"Initial investigations showed that there was a misunderstanding between Siti Khadijah and a family member, which led to her disappearance," he said in a statement today.
Zaiham urged anyone who has seen, recognised or has information on her to contact the Bentong police headquarters at 09-223 1999 or any nearest police station.
