The Transport Ministry will continue its RM499 ceiling fare subsidy for one-way flights between Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan for the upcoming Aidilfitri celebration.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke stated the initiative ensures affordable air travel, with fixed one-way fares starting at RM328 on certain routes. Bookings for these promotional fares are available until April 5, 2025. Additionally, AirAsia will operate more than 90 late-night flights and 287 weekly flights at regular fares, supporting the government's initiative.

Loke emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and airlines to make air travel more accessible, especially during peak seasons.
