KUALA LUMPUR — Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli has said he’s prepared to step down from the Cabinet if he fails to defend his PKR deputy president position in the May 24 party polls. Speaking at a party event, Rafizi said resigning would respect the grassroots' decision and free him to speak more openly on national issues. He emphasized that his exit wouldn’t affect government stability and confirmed he would continue serving as Pandan MP. Rafizi faces Nurul Izzah Anwar in a straight fight for the post.
