Following findings in the 2024 Auditor-General's Report, the MACC investigated HRD Corp's management of levy funds and investments. The agency presented its findings, urging the Human Resources Ministry and HRD Corp to implement governance reforms to address identified weaknesses. MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner Datuk Azmi Kamaruzaman emphasized the need for stronger, sustainable governance. The ministry's deputy secretary-general, Sutekno Ahmad Belon, assured full support for the recommendations and their continuous implementation. A Governance Improvement Report was presented and signed by MACC and HRD Corp representatives.
