The National Welfare Foundation (YKN) has proposed mobile Local Social Support Centres (PSSS) in Sabah to help women facing domestic violence, especially in rural areas.
YKN CEO Nordina Haron said these centres would make it easier for women to file complaints without worrying about travel costs.
The PSSS also features the MyPSSS app, allowing direct complaints to agencies under the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry for various social issues.
The initiative aims to connect women with support services across multiple ministries and agencies.
