Barisan Nasional (BN) must respond to social media attacks, especially negative perceptions, within three hours to avoid losing public support, said BN chairman and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Speaking at the Better Nation BN Forum, Zahid stressed that slow responses in past elections allowed damaging narratives to take hold. He urged BN to adopt a modern, data-driven approach with quick, effective communication.
Zahid also highlighted the need for politics with substance, focusing on rebuilding trust and addressing key public concerns like prices, housing, and employment ahead of the 16th General Election.
