Saudi officials are in "difficult" talks to convince Cristiano Ronaldo to stay in the country after he hinted at leaving Al Nassr. Ronaldo, whose contract expires soon, could move to Al Hilal or Al Ahli, with the possibility of playing in the upcoming Club World Cup. The Public Investment Fund (PIF), which invests in top Saudi clubs, is involved in the negotiations. Ronaldo, the Saudi Pro League's top scorer, has not won a trophy with Al Nassr. Meanwhile, his rival, Lionel Messi, will play in the Club World Cup with Inter Miami.
