Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, an Egyptian national, has been charged with attempted murder and a federal hate crime after throwing Molotov cocktails at a pro-Israel rally in Boulder, Colorado, injuring at least 12 people. Prosecutors say Soliman planned the attack for a year and chose firebombs over firearms due to his non-citizen status, which prevented him from buying guns.Soliman, who overstayed a tourist visa, told investigators he aimed to "kill all Zionist people" but delayed the attack until after his daughter’s graduation. Authorities found 16 unused Molotov cocktails, a petrol can, and other incendiary items near the scene. The attack, labeled an "antisemitic terror act" by U.S. officials, occurred during a peaceful event supporting Israeli hostages. Soliman faces life in prison if convicted.
