Odesa National Opera soloist Vladislav Gorai died Sunday while volunteering in Ukraine’s Sumy region near the Russian border. Honoured Artist of Ukraine since 2013, Gorai was known internationally and deeply committed to supporting his country during the conflict. The opera house mourned the loss of a beloved artist and patriot.
