PUTRAJAYA — Malaysia strongly condemned Israel for blocking the Madleen aid flotilla en route to Gaza, calling the act a ruthless obstruction of vital humanitarian relief.
Wisma Putra stressed that the mission, which set sail from Sicily on June 1 with 12 people onboard—including 11 activists and a journalist—was carrying critical supplies such as baby formula, medical items, and food.
Malaysia urged the international community to demand an end to Israel’s blockade, which it described as a brutal act causing severe suffering to Gaza’s civilians.
