JERUSALEM — Israel has declared a nationwide state of emergency following its preemptive strike on Iran’s nuclear and military facilities, anticipating imminent retaliation.
The Israeli Defence Ministry warned of an expected missile and drone attack targeting civilians. Defence Minister Israel Katz invoked the Civil Defense Law to impose the emergency across the country.
