KUALA LUMPUR — The MACC has postponed taking a statement from a “Tan Sri” linked to alleged misuse of sukuk funds for a Klang Valley highway project due to health reasons, with the session now set for next Thursday.
A 16-hour raid by MACC’s Tactical Team at his residence began at 9am and ended at 1.30am, during which several luxury items were reportedly seized. Multiple nearby units were also searched.
MACC chief Azam Baki confirmed the delay, citing a medical report stating the Tan Sri was unfit to proceed. He added that details of the seized assets would be shared soon.
