Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) has confirmed the departure of 11 players ahead of the 2025–2026 M-League season, including club icons Safiq Rahim and Farizal Marlias.

Safiq, who joined in 2013, captained JDT to their historic 2015 AFC Cup win and leaves with 270 appearances, 59 goals, and a trophy-laden career. Goalkeeper Farizal, who joined in 2015, made 222 appearances with 102 clean sheets, playing a key role in JDT’s domestic and continental success.

Also released were fellow goalkeeper Izham Tarmizi, winger Ramadhan Saifullah (now at Kuching City FC), and seven foreign imports including Jordi Amat, Jese Rodriguez, and Roque Mesa, as JDT prepares to revamp its squad.
