Actor Siddharth, known for picking roles across South Indian cinema, recently reflected on the backlash he received for heavily promoting Indian 2 before its release.
Though he played a key role in the film, many fans felt the movie didn’t live up to the hype. Speaking on a recent talk show, Siddharth said, “I thought what I liked, people would like too. But after release, people questioned me like I owed them an explanation.”
He added that going forward, he’ll let audiences decide for themselves, rather than preemptively endorsing any film—even if he personally values it.
