Leeds have boosted their Premier League return by signing 26-year-old Slovenian centre-back Jaka Bijol from Udinese for £15 million. Bijol, who has 63 caps and starred at Euro 2024, joins German striker Lukas Nmecha as Leeds’ second summer signing. He arrives with Serie A experience (95 appearances) after spells at Udinese and CSKA Moscow. Fresh from sealing Championship promotion on 100 points, Leeds are confident Bijol can help shore up their defence.
