KOTA KINABALU — Sabah Umno chief Bung Moktar Radin has ruled out working with Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS), saying there’s no need for intermediaries and no talks have taken place.
He said Pakatan Harapan (PH) is free to work with GRS, but Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) won’t, citing past betrayals and lack of sincerity from GRS and its leader, Hajiji Noor.
Speaking after a women’s empowerment event, Bung stressed he prefers direct dialogue but sees no reason for it now, rejecting the Unity Government Secretariat’s suggestion for cooperation ahead of state elections.
