Three unauthorized drones were detected Saturday night at Japan's Genkai Nuclear Power Station in the Kyushu region, where two reactors are currently being decommissioned. Japan's Nuclear Regulation Authority (NRA) and police confirmed no abnormalities were found at the plant, and the drones have not been located within its premises. Unauthorised drone flights near nuclear facilities are prohibited in Japan. The purpose or operator of the drones remains unknown.
