Counter-terrorism agents are investigating after a 41-year-old man was arrested for causing a disturbance on an easyJet flight (EZY609 from Luton) as it arrived in Glasgow on Sunday, July 27, 2025.

Police Scotland confirmed the arrest and stated that inquiries are ongoing. Unverified online videos show a man shouting "Allahu akbar" and allegedly "I have a bomb," and "death to America, death to Trump" before being tackled by passengers. easyJet confirmed a passenger was removed due to their behavior onboard, praising their crew for ensuring safety. No actual bomb was found.
