Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to rejoin Marseille after ending his stint in Saudi Arabia, the club confirmed on Tuesday.The 36-year-old striker, who scored 30 goals for Marseille in the 2023/24 season, returns after a brief spell with Al-Qadsiah. He had moved to Saudi Arabia following Marseille’s failure to qualify for Europe but has now terminated his contract.Aubameyang, Gabon’s all-time top scorer with 35 goals, has played for top clubs including Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea, AC Milan, and Borussia Dortmund. He previously won the 2022/23 La Liga title with Barcelona.Marseille, who finished second in Ligue 1 last season, will feature in the Champions League.
