Malaysia have been handed a significant advantage in their Asian Cup qualifier against Nepal, with the match now set to be played at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on November 18. Originally scheduled as an away fixture, the venue was shifted after Nepal’s proposed stadium failed to meet AFC standards. It marks the second venue change for the tie. AFC general secretary Datuk Seri Windsor John confirmed the decision, saying Nepal's stadium did not receive the necessary approval. The change offers Malaysia home-ground comfort in a crucial qualifying clash.
