Malaysia’s Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei continued their red-hot form by advancing to the China Masters semi-finals, stretching their unbeaten run to eight matches since becoming world champions. The world No. 3 mixed doubles pair battled past Hong Kong’s world No. 6 duo, Tang Chun Man and Tse Ying Suet, in a hard-fought 21-12, 12-21, 21-17 victory in Shenzhen. Matching last year’s semi-final finish, Tang Jie and Ee Wei are now eyeing their maiden Super 750 title. They will face either second seeds Feng Yan Zhe-Huang Dong Ping of China or fellow Malaysians Guo Xin Wa-Chen Fang Hui in the next round.
