BALIK PULAU — The Penang Water Supply Corporation (PBAPP) has announced that 1,200 consumer accounts in the southwest district will experience a scheduled water supply disruption for eight hours from today to tomorrow.
PBAPP said the scheduled water supply disruption is due to the installation of an “electromagnetic magflow meter and pressure reducing valve (PRV)” in the southwest district.
“The disruption will begin at 10pm today to 6am tomorrow involving the entire area along Kuala Jalan Baru, Lorong Prestij 1 to 9, Solok Prestij 1 to 8, Apartment Prestij 3, Flat Taman Prestij 3 and Pangsapuri Idaman Prestij,” according to a post on PBAPP’s Facebook yesterday.
Affected consumers are advised to store enough water for use throughout the water supply disruption period.
PBAPP will update the status of the supply disruption via the official PBAPP Penang Facebook from time to time and apologises for any inconvenience caused.
