SINGAPORE — A 16-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to raping a 13-year-old girl in a Bukit Panjang carpark in September 2023, alongside a friend, while another kept watch.

According to The Straits Times, the incident occurred after the group consumed alcohol at a nearby playground, leaving the girl unconscious.

Court documents revealed that the boy, referred to as B1, instructed others to leave before committing the assault.

He later denied knowing the victim when questioned by police.

The crime only surfaced months later when the lookout confided in a psychologist.

B1 faces six charges, including rape, theft, rioting, and voluntarily causing hurt.

He also admitted to assaulting a 14-year-old boy and engaging in sexual acts with two underage girls in separate incidents.

The judge has called for a reformative training suitability report.

Sentencing is scheduled for October 22.
