Kuala Lumpur Immigration officials arrested 15 foreign nationals during "Ops Dandan," a targeted raid on an aesthetic clinic in Bukit Bintang on Tuesday night. Those detained include citizens from China and Myanmar who were allegedly performing medical beauty treatments without valid work permits.
Investigations revealed that the clinic was operating illegally and employing foreign workers who had entered the country on social visit passes. Authorities seized medical equipment, CCTV footage, and business documents as evidence of unauthorized medical practices.
The clinic, reportedly owned by a Chinese national, had been operating for a year and allegedly generated hundreds of thousands in profit. The Immigration Department has warned that it will continue to crack down on businesses that exploit social passes for illegal employment.
