Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad confirmed today that a Tuberculosis (TB) cluster has emerged in Kota Tinggi, Johor. As of yesterday, 33 positive cases have been detected after authorities screened over 804 close contacts.
Public health teams are actively monitoring the situation to prevent further spread within the local community. This announcement comes alongside other health measures, including proactive screening of high-risk travelers to prevent the introduction of the Nipah virus into the country.
