The Malayalam film industry officially introduced major work culture reforms today to improve on-set conditions. In a historic agreement signed between the Kerala Film Producers Association and FEFKA, daily working hours have been capped at 12 hours, down from previous stretches of up to 16 hours. The new rules also mandate structured shifts and higher pay for overtime and night shoots.

In film release news, director Abrid Shine announced today that the release of his latest movie, Spa, has been deferred by one day to February 13. The delay is due to a nationwide strike scheduled for tomorrow. Spa marks Shine's return to directing and is a dark thriller that explores questionable activities linked to a wellness center.

Meanwhile, actor Anoop Menon confirmed today that his upcoming project with Mohanlal has faced a technical delay due to a change in the production banner. Despite the setback, Menon remains committed to the film, describing it as a "dramatic journey" of love and music.
