Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) has officially stormed into the Malaysia Cup final following a dominant 8-1 aggregate victory over Kuala Lumpur City FC. Despite missing star player Arif Aiman Hanapi, who has been sidelined with a long term hamstring injury, JDT showcased their squad depth with an emphatic second leg performance. They will now face Selangor in a highly anticipated final. 

While JDT prepares for the final, speculation remains high regarding the future of Arif Aiman. International reports have recently linked the Malaysian sensation with a potential move to South Korean giants Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. While nothing has been finalized, analysts suggest that a move to a top Asian league would be a logical step for his personal development once he returns to full fitness. 

Elsewhere in the M-League, Sheikh Farouk has stepped down as the CEO of Terengganu FC after an eight month tenure. The club thanked him for his work in strengthening management, even as they look for a successor to lead their upcoming campaign. Meanwhile, Selangor is preparing for their Malaysia Cup semi-final, with head coach Kim Pan-gon expressing confidence in the team's ability to reach the final alongside JDT.
