A major three day multi sports festival has officially launched today at the Sports Arena, UNITEN Kampus Putrajaya in Kajang. The event features competitive tournaments in netball, handball, and basketball, with matches scheduled to run late into the evening across the weekend. The festival is part of a broader initiative to promote community sports and unearth local talent in these disciplines. 

The opening day's schedule includes sessions from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with subsequent days starting as early as 8:00 AM. Organizers expect a high turnout of local athletes and spectators, providing a platform for amateur players to showcase their skills in a structured environment. 

This event coincides with other community driven sports news, such as the Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) confirming it will proceed under the Ministry of Youth and Sports as the primary organizer. Furthermore, young talents like Nadia have recently come close to breaking national records in the Malaysian Open, signaling a bright future for Malaysian swimming and athletics.
