Australia-based AirTrunk has announced a major expansion in Malaysia with an investment of RM12 billion to build two new hyperscale data centres in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. This move doubles down on the company's commitment to Malaysia as a growing hub for digital infrastructure in Southeast Asia.
The new campuses are designed to support the increasing demand for cloud and AI services in the region. This investment is expected to significantly boost Johor's local economy and reinforce its position as a primary technology corridor.
