SEPANG — Several major roads in the Sepang district will be closed and traffic diverted in stages from this Sunday (August 16) until August 19 to make way for the road cycling event at the 2026 Selangor Malaysia Games (Sukma).
Sepang police chief ACP Norhizam Bahaman said the road closures would be implemented from 8.30am to 12.30pm throughout the period, involving the competition routes used by 142 participants.
He said a total of 96 locations would be monitored for traffic control duties throughout the event, divided into four zones.
“The four zones are Zone A, covering Jalan Pantai Sepang Putra-Sempadan Tumbuk; Zone B (Jalan Dengkil-Jenderam Hulu); Zone C (Jalan Jenderam-Salak); and Zone D (Jalan Salak Sepang-Sungai Pelek).
