A 22-year-old motorcyclist, Ayub Zamri, was killed in a crash on Jalan Kota Bharu-Kuala Terengganu near Kampung Gong Nering on February 27. The incident occurred around 5:45 p.m. when Ayub attempted to overtake a Perodua Alza, resulting in a collision. He was thrown onto the road and then struck by a Honda City traveling behind. Ayub, en route from Kuala Krai, Kelantan, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the Honda City were uninjured. The Perodua Alza, believed to have fled the scene, has not reported the crash. Police are urging the public to come forward with any information to aid the investigation.
