Sungai Petani MP Taufiq Johari has urged Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal to stop misleading the public over the recent EPF dividend announcement. Taufiq criticized Wan Ahmad Fayhsal’s attempt to downplay the positive news of a 6.3% dividend, the highest since 2017. He emphasized that the EPF payout is a sign of the government’s successful economic management under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. Taufiq also pointed out that similar principles were used during the PN era, though with lower dividends, and urged the Machang MP to focus on the facts.
