KUALA LUMPUR: Aifa Azman bowed out in the second round of the US$66,500 Manchester Open yesterday with a 11-3, 11-3, 11-1 loss to England's Georgina Kennedy.
It was the world No. 39 Kedahan's second defeat to world No. 7 Kennedy.
In the men's competition, Sanjay Jeeva lost in the second round to England's world No. 36 Jonah Byrant 11-7, 11-5, 11-6.
World No. 59 Sanjay said: "I was leading in the first two games but I lost my discipline and he started moving me around a lot."
