KUALA LUMPUR — Malaysian Pro Wrestling (MYPW) kicked off its 2024 season with a bang at New Breed 3, thrilling over 240 fans at KuAsh Theatre in TTDI with seven electrifying matches.
Highlights included Malaysia’s first female wrestler Poppy Shay battling Australia’s Lana XO, a chaotic 10-person invitational rumble, and fan-favorite duo The Juicy Boyz defending their SPW SEA Tag Titles. KAIZUL clinched the “Journey to GOLD” tournament, earning a shot at the MYPW Southeast Asia Championship.
Reigning champion Shivam retained his title in a fiery main event against Emman, Andruew Tang, and Shaheen. Shivam praised the Malaysian crowd for their passion and energy, calling them “one of the best” he’s performed in front of.
First-time attendees and longtime fans alike raved about the show’s WWE-like atmosphere, dynamic roster, and vibrant community. With MYPW aiming high for 2025, New Breed 3 proved the promotion continues to be a major force in Southeast Asian wrestling.
