KUALA LUMPUR — Malaysia’s top women’s doubles pair, Pearly Tan and M. Thinaah, stormed into the Thailand Open semi-finals with a commanding 21-14, 21-11 win over China’s Chen Qing Chen and Wang Ting Ge in just 33 minutes.
This marks their third semi-final appearance at the tournament as they chase their maiden title. Next, they’ll face either India’s Treesa Jolly-Gayatri Gopichand or Japan’s Rui Hirokami-Sayaka Hobara.
Meanwhile, in men's doubles, Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik are set for an all-Malaysian clash against Arif Junaidi and Yap Roy King in the quarter-finals.
