KUCHING — Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang, wife of Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, passed away at 3.34am today at Normah Medical Center, Kuching. She was 76.
The late Juma’ani, daughter of Sarawak’s second Head of State, Tun Tuanku Bujang Tuanku Othman, was laid to rest at the Semariang Muslim Cemetery after funeral rites at Masjid Jamek, Petra Jaya.
Married in 1977, she is survived by her husband and two children. She also served as president of the Sarawak Ministers’ Wives Association (Sabati).
