LONDON — Liverpool have completed the £40 million signing of Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez, who has agreed to a five-year deal.
The 21-year-old Hungary international becomes the Premier League champions’ third major signing this window, following Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz, the latter arriving in a club-record deal worth up to £116 million.
Kerkez is seen as the long-term replacement for 31-year-old Andy Robertson, who is being linked with Atletico Madrid.
“I’m honoured to join the biggest club in England,” said Kerkez. “I can’t wait to get started.”
He made 74 appearances and scored twice for Bournemouth since arriving from AZ Alkmaar in 2022.
