Borussia Mönchengladbach have parted ways with head coach Gerardo Seoane after a disastrous start to the Bundesliga season, with the team failing to score in their first three matches and suffering a humiliating 4-0 home defeat to Werder Bremen. The club, winless in their last 10 league games, sits 16th in the table with just one point. Sporting Director Roland Virkus said the club had "lost faith" in Seoane's ability to spark a turnaround. The Swiss coach, appointed in 2023, will be temporarily replaced by Under-23 boss Eugen Polanski.
