Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim emphasized today that while the government never restricts religious activities, all preaching and the construction of houses of worship must strictly follow regulations set by the authorities. Speaking at a Home Ministry event in Putrajaya, he stressed that these activities must be guided by the Federal Constitution to maintain national harmony.

The Prime Minister's reminder follows recent discussions regarding the management of houses of worship. He reiterated that no individual or group has the right to take matters into their own hands outside the framework of the law, urging all parties to resolve sensitive issues through proper legal channels and mutual respect.
