Internal crisis within the opposition party Bersatu deepened today as 12 divisions reportedly dissolved. The move was described by some local leaders as a "courageous and dignified decision" amidst ongoing leadership disputes. However, party leaders like Datuk Seri Azmin Ali have dismissed the claims, insisting the party remains intact and that such announcements conflict with the party's constitution. 

In a related move, Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal withdrew his appeal against his suspension from the party, citing a loss of confidence in the party's current goals. Analysts suggest these developments may boost the prospects of certain leaders within the party while threatening its unity ahead of future elections.
