The highly anticipated Michael Jackson biopic, "Michael," officially had its world premiere in Berlin yesterday, aiming for a massive $700 million global box office haul. Starring Jaafar Jackson as his late uncle, the film is scheduled for general release on April 24, 2026, and is expected to be one of the highest-grossing music biopics in history. 

In the animation world, "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie" is dominating global box office charts in its second weekend, featuring new voice additions including Glen Powell as Star Fox and a cameo by Fox McCloud. Trailers for other major upcoming films, such as the A24 horror "Backrooms" and the sci-fi adventure "The End of Oak Street," also debuted today to significant social media engagement. 

Other major production updates include Netflix greenlighting "Extraction 3" with Chris Hemsworth set to return as Tyler Rake. Steven Spielberg has also begun sharing early production details for his next original UFO project, currently titled "Disclosure Day".
