The No. 3 Texas Men's Golf team has officially advanced to the match play portion of the SEC Championship after a strong final round of stroke play at Sea Island Golf Club. Led by Christiaan Maas, who tied for third in the individual standings at 10 under par, the Longhorns secured the No. 3 seed. They are set to face No. 6 seed Mississippi State in the quarterfinals today, Saturday, April 25, as they begin their quest for the conference title.

In the Patriot League Championship hosted at West Point, the battle for the top spot is neck and neck as Navy and Army sit tied for first place after the opening day. Both teams finished with a 13 over par 293, just one stroke ahead of defending champion Loyola and Holy Cross. Navy's Jack Tarzy currently shares the individual lead after carding a tournament low 71, setting the stage for a dramatic second round of play today.

On the women's side, the Big 12 Championship is reaching its climax at the Dallas Athletic Club, with Patience Rhodes taking control of the individual leaderboard. Rhodes carded a three-under 69 in the second round to position herself for her first title of the season. The final round will be broadcast live today on ESPN+, as 14 teams battle for the conference prize in what promises to be a photo finish ending.
