Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has surprised fans by debuting a fresh look for his upcoming action thriller, King, during the film's current shooting schedule in South Africa. After sporting a natural salt and pepper hairstyle for over a year, recent leaked photos from the set show the actor with neatly styled dark hair. This change has sparked intense speculation among fans that the film may feature the actor in dual roles or depict his character across different timelines, such as a younger and older version of a gangster. 

The superstar is currently in South Africa alongside co-star Deepika Padukone to film what is described as a high-octane climax sequence and a special song number. Leaked images from the outdoor locations show the crew using extensive green screen equipment, suggesting a large-scale production for these pivotal scenes. This film is particularly significant as it marks the first time Shah Rukh Khan will share the screen with his daughter, Suhana Khan, in a major cinematic venture.

King is slated for a major theatrical release on December 24, 2026, positioning it for one of the biggest box office battles of the decade. The film will face stiff competition from Hollywood blockbusters such as Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part Three, which are scheduled to arrive in cinemas just a week earlier.
