Aston Villa has officially secured their qualification for next season's UEFA Champions League. Unai Emery's squad delivered a stellar performance to overcome Liverpool with a decisive 4-2 victory at Villa Park. 

The high octane fixture saw an early opener from Villa's Morgan Rogers, countered by a header from Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk. However, a brilliant second half brace from Ollie Watkins and a late strike by John McGinn completely sealed the historic result for the home side. 

Following this result, Aston Villa leapfrogs Liverpool into 4th place in the Premier League table with 62 points. Liverpool drops to 5th place with 59 points, leaving them with just one final league match to play to secure the remaining European spots.
