The Malaysian sporting community is deeply mourning the loss of former badminton legend Datuk Teh Kew San, who passed away peacefully at the age of 91. Heavily remembered as a mentor and an iconic giant of the sport, Teh left an permanent mark on the country's rich athletic history.

Teh famously captained the historic Malayan and Malaysian squads during the golden era of badminton, most notably leading the nation to a famous Thomas Cup victory in 1967. His exceptional leadership and competitive brotherhood on the court inspired generations of future Malaysian shuttlers.
